// AUTO DESKTOP
Code signing policy
This is the code signing policy for Auto Desktop, the native wallet and dApp browser published by the Auto Wallet project.
Free code signing provided by SignPath.io, certificate by SignPath Foundation
Windows builds of Auto Desktop that carry this signature are signed with a certificate issued to SignPath Foundation and provided through SignPath.io. SignPath checks that a signed binary is an automated build of the source in the Auto Desktop repository. macOS builds use Apple signing and are not covered by that certificate.
Team roles
The people who maintain Auto Desktop, and the people who may approve a signature, are the Auto Wallet organization roles on GitHub.
- Committers and reviewers: Members team. Committers may change the project’s source. A change proposed by someone who is not a committer must be reviewed by a team member before it is merged.
- Approvers: Owners. An approver decides whether a release may be code-signed. Every signing request needs that approval.
Privacy policy
What Auto Desktop sends over the network is described in the Privacy policy. That page also links to the privacy policies of the services the app contacts.
